Carter Randolph

President, chief investment officer

Carter Randolph has served as President and Chief Investment Officer of The Randolph Company since 1996. A quiet leader with a passion for the organizations and community he serves. For nearly three decades, the region’s high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations have looked to Carter and The Randolph Company for investment strategy and effective portfolio management.

Carter is also President of the Greenacres Foundation, the L&L Nippert Charitable Foundation, the L.I.F.E. Foundation and on the Board of Bold and Brave Foundation. He is dedicated to upholding the legacy of Louis and Louise Nippert in his stewardship of their family of foundations. He lives by the Nipperts’ philosophy that effective philanthropy is sustainable, assures quality, and is done for the doing rather than for the credit.

As the founder of the Greenacres Foundation, Carter helps provide over 35,000 children and visitors with hands-on learning on around 1,250 acres of farmland throughout the tristate. Under his leadership, in a single year, around $30 million in charitable spending enhances the education of the area’s children and support the Cincinnati Arts and other charities.

Carter holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and has taught Finance at Xavier University. In his time away from the office, Carter enjoys golf, regenerative agriculture and spending time with his family.
